Wow 500 gems? That is a lot of gems considering I currently have 28, still something to work for.

It seems a bit odd that the price of unlocks goes from about 25 or 30 gems right up to 500 and there are no unlocks at lower amounts, oh well, maybe more boards etc will come later.

@Dark seems you haven't seen all the available options, though I admit the pricing difference is way too huge. You have the hardcore mode for 50 gems, the battle customizer for 250 and the MG customizer for 500 (think there's also a board for you to get at 30 if you haven't already).
@CJ89 you can't get up it, I think it's only put as a barrier though you can use it in the minigames.

Hmm, it's possibly put there for future expansion too, that could be cool. There's 2 ways you can end the city so I'm guessing one will unlock a new world or something.

2017-10-18 00:22:17

How do you get those things to show up in the rewards room? I have well over 200 gems and only have the options I've always had since the first beta.

To anyone, What minigame to I have to perfect in the castle to get to the citty.
I can't seem to open up any alt paths besides the default one that ends with the butterfly catching game.
To Pragma, I've found a few bugs that won't let me reach a perfect score in some of the minigames on the castle world.
First, the timer seems to be buggy.
Whenever it reaches about five seconds or so, the speed it counts down at increases to one second everytime I take a step.
Also, most of the games like the pot-filling one and the flower-ficking one don't seem to generate enough good items to reach a perfect score of 20
In one case I even got 21 of the bad plants in the first game.
Also, and this seems to only happen when using a sapi voice; the prompts for main menu, choose a world/arena, prompts like that, they are always said twice when they should only be said once as they are with screen readers.
Also, might it be possible to make the game not say each menu item when you selectit by pressing enter?
It's just a little redundant to me.
Later!

You must get 20 points in Mosquito minigame.

This minigame is accessed by taking the "Left" path. If needed, I can record how this is done.

I gathered you had to get 20 points in the Mosquito game because pragm even said so somewhere.
I just can't find said game in the castle, so that recording might be a good idea.
Also, could you please use beta 51, so I can see if the bugs I reported in my previous post are in all copies of that beta, or if it's just some weird issue with my PC?
Later!

how can i complete destroy walking boms?

2017-10-18 13:10:57

just let them explode while moving away quickly: for those of you who don't know, you can move with 2 arrows at a time to act a little quicker, with one and an only exception, hitting 2 opposite arrows, so if the bomb is say directly behind you when it starts to explode while another is to your right, go in front and to the left at the same time, wait until they explode and then you might need the place they were in to protect you from bombs coming from the other direction.

To find the mosquito game, go to the west after completing castle windowsand you'll find store the dishes, the mosquito killing is north of that.
Even if you do not get 20 on mosquitos, this path also leads north then east and eventually unlocks the beach.
Actually I think the Castle is now the first world with three possible exits.

One thing I would like to see, is some sort of indication on the map when a minigame has an unlock for a perfect score, perhaps a different sound when you stand on it, indeed you could consider making the unlocks part of a map, like say a creaking door sound when you stand on a minigame with an unlock, ie, the door opens if you get the right score. At the moment the only way to know where the unlocks are or which minigames to practice and try and perfect is by the changelog,  which makes life a bit difficult for anyone not on this forum, not to mention making it slightly harder if you want to unlock things without spoilers.

@Masonian,   several rewards you need to get one victory in all the gyms or all the worlds, eg, to unlock the ability to have a six battle party you need to unlock all the gyms including the grand council, and to get into the unlock zone you need at least one victory in all the worlds.

I suspect it is the same for unlocking hard mode and the other options such as the 15 or 20 minigame party options, though I've not got enough gems for that yet.

how can generate a list of my unlocked minigames?

2017-10-21 14:24:40

Hi all, just started playing this great game after a long time away.
Question, is there a way I can go back and choose another type beside water as my primary attack? the flying gym is unbeatable with water, and its a serious struggle even with the normal gym. Now that I know a bit more, I'd like to redo both types. lol

Thanks for any help with this.

2017-10-21 14:58:38

Other than deleting your save file, unfortunately no, although you can beat flying with normal just fine.

2017-10-21 16:50:39

in with wolrd can i find The imprisoned fish and the mountain scorge

2017-10-21 18:03:02

@Mike, I had the same issue with water when I started the battle game.
I recommend just beating the normal gym until you have enough normal cards to form a deck then using that on flying.
When you have a couple of decks to choose between things get easier, though I will siay since the change in eta 48 where two type decks are possible it does seem elemental weaknesses are more extreme, eg, cards with one power on an attack like snowball, slap or bubble used to do six damage rather than 8 to an element   they were strong against rather than the standard 4.

I don't think weaker elemental damage has been tweaked, but stronger elemental damage certainly has,  which makes it far harder to win  your opponent has a stronger element than it used to be.

Thanks for the help guys. If I wanted to delete my saved file, what's the file name exactly?
smile

@Dark, I must admit my nearly total lack of understanding of the battle game. I either need to sit down with someone on skype and get an explaination of how it all works as to how to work decks, how to build a deck, when to use, or how to choose a different deck. Unless there's a pretty detailed help file or read me on this aspect of this game.
I'd much prefer the Q&A type of help that skype can offer, but no one I know plays this game. lol
I understand how the various types can be weak or strong against one another, but as far as the deck creation and building mechanics go, I'm a bit out to sea.

I'd be glad to PM my skype ID to you Dark if you get some time to give me some tuition on this.
big_smile

2017-10-21 20:50:52

I don't actually have skype at the moment Mike so wouldn't be of much help with that.
I also haven't exactly upgraded my deck building strategy since beta 48 changed the rules, but I can at least explain how one goes about choosing and building decks and the basics of how battles work.

In the main menu there is a "manage your decks" option. You can select from one of 12 blank dec slots (likely your water cards will already be in deck slot one).
You can then use the arrows to move around and examine the cards you own. They are arranged vertically in types, so hit up and down arrows to go to the different types, and left and right to look through them.

E will explain each card, and hitting enter you can choose how many to add  the currently selected deck.

To make life easier you can also hold m when selecting a deck to give it a name, for example I have all my decks labeled by elemental type.

Now as to battle and how it works.
As you will have gathered the object is to reduce your opponent's hp to zero by playing cards that do damage. Your attacks can be either physical or magical.

You have seen the elemental weakness system already. For each card you play and for each turn you remain an element, you gain a level in that element. Also as of beta 48 you can gain levels in another element by having three cards of that elemental type in your hand.

The higher level in an element you are, the higher level cards you can play, this means more powerful attacks, but also more specialist cards.

As well as attacks other types of cards include buffs that make  defense or attack in physical or magic stronger, debuffs for your opponent which do the same thing, status affect cards such as fear paralysis or sleep that can affect your opponent going or parry and reaction cards that react to what your opponent does.

Each turn you must play or discard a card, and also draw one, which means There are also cards that manipulate your hand and let you draw more cards or draw cards of a specific type.

What each card does is contained  on the explanation text of the card you get when you hit e.

You can have a maximum of 4 copies of a card in your deck (though you can have less if you wish), and a deck cannot be greater than 60 cards.

The rest mainly of deck building is reading the cards, putting together good information and strategy, and I confess myself that I still haven't sorted that since  rules change in beta 48 that let  construct double element decks, one reason why I don't tend to battle online very much although I do often play the minigames online against other people.

Hope some of this helps.

2017-10-22 01:08:25

@Dark that helped a whole bunch actually! I appreciate you writing all that out, and I think now I have a better understanding of how it all works.
Any suggestions for what might work against the flying battlers, or is it the air elemental types? lol
I can't even get past the first challenge in that gym, weather its the duck or the dragon fly. I hit him for like 3 points, and he hits me anywhere from 6 to 15 points of damage, and I'm toast in no time! Hehe its rather frustrating.

Thanks again.

My question is, how the blazes do you actually use a two type deck?  I can level one or the other, but once I start trying to level the second type I end up losing levels in my primary.

When life gives you oranges, demand lemons since everyone else is obviously getting them.

You can find this game in heights world...

2017-10-22 11:41:21

i can not find it in the heights

2017-10-22 13:30:23

I suspect the problem Mike is that when you start the game, your water deck has only a few cards in it and not the strongest, heck, water isn't a particularly strong element anyway.

What I would advise is to beat the mormal gym a few times to get some good normal cards to build a normal deck.
normal has some tough attacks early as well as  some cards like yawn and mutual normalisation to mess up your opponent's strategy, and some solid basic buff cards, indeed if it werent' for the fact that normal  utterly ineffective against ghost it'd be a fairly good element (it was the one I beat most  the gyms with).

it's actually a bit irritating that you get  choice of fire, water or plant early on,  since you don't get to those gyms until later so can't expand your repertoire and thus need to replay the first few gyms to get a good selection of cards.

As to two type decks god knows. As I said my strategy for deck creation has pretty much gone a bit pair shaped since the change in beta 48 one reason I havent' done any online battles since I think I'd get slaughtered big_smile.
