Yes, it's a very long time sinse we last saw one of these. That's because it's also been a very long time sinse we last saw the agnet cyber elves. It turns out the annoying little critters, ----- mmmm, I mean the adorable little volunteers, had esca ---- mmmm, taken a much needed holiday through a hole in one of our security fences when the electric current was off, ---- the electric current to our heating that is because of course we don't use eletrified fences, that would be nasty (well we don't anymore, (now that's! one fire wall!).

Fortunately the cyber elves have been induced  to come back to work and all the unpleasantness is finished (not unlike some very troublesome Agnet Cyberelves), so here are the updates and we promise not to have any problems like this in the future, ---- or else!

Your welcome. I was aware it's been quite some time sinse anything got added to the db and while (as always), there is more to add hopefully this helps, especially because I've been able to add a nice selection of stuff from muds and browser games to audiogames and things for Ios.

Hi dark, for some reason the desura website is down.
I cannot access it.
I wonder if desura have already gone out of business?
I want the desura site back up so that I can purchase BlindSide for PC.

@Dark
I don't know if any of the staff here, but I'm sure they do, know about the IOS game of Solara and that it has been taken down from the app store, but you might want to mention it. Also might want to see if anyone knows how to contact the developer to see if they would be willing to give permission for someone else to host the server so that the game can still be played. I have tried, but the email I have
[email protected]
no longer works, but someone here might know who it is. This is a game that should not be lost and thought it should be brought to the attention of someone in power around here.
As for your updates, excellent reading, as usual, and thanks for the link updates as I could never find a couple of those games mentioned before. Thank you for posting this.

Hi Kithri.

I did hear about Solara, it's a real shame sinse the game was great, particularly with it's access work.
Unfortunately "those in power" is a bit of a misnomer, we're just people who like games and write about them.
The only time I contacted the Solara creators was probably the same way you or others did, on applevis or by email to the esperlabs address you mention.

I'd suggest however waiting sinse one thing I've noticed with Ios is that games threatened to be deleted often hang around. This has already happened with the storm8 games and with the somethinelse games.  that is why i haven't altered the entry for stemstumper, even though it's no longer in the ap store (I was trying to do an entry for Spellstack but just plane couldn't find it).

So I'd wait on that one and check the page on Applevis.

One thing I will say is that great though Solara was, it had it's limits. I think part of the reason it didn't make as much by way of money through esper purchices as the creators desired was that not as much was added, sinse once you'd finished the quest mode there wasn't miles else in terms of monsters and such, though I do know they planned to add more things including descriptions of the monsters in battle.

It's a shame work had to just stop off like that, and I really do hope the developers find a way of hosting the game and keeping it available, even if it didn't quite go as promised.
