Just a couple bits of newsily goodness today, sinse two very major events have occurred audiogames wise, both of them things we've been anticipating for a long time.

The first, is the long awaited sequel to Castaways, Aprones fantastic  game of stratogy, building, and yetti brutalizing.

Castaways ii is a multiplayer game set in the same universe, following directly from the vents preceeding the first castaways, (if you haven't finished mission 5 some info is available). Set online, right now the key point of the game is building and expanding faster than your rivals, attacking or cooperating with them as things go.
Of course we're still just in beta teretory at the moment, so lots of bug crushing, error swatting and generalised vermin exterminating, as well as quite a bit of polishing and feature adding will go on, but to anyone who wants to jump in with both feet, one axe and a good supply of doctors, feel free to do so by checking out This topic  (find the download link for the beta in the first post by Aprone, and be sure to read for instructions).

Also note that while the single player mode of the game is currently free to try out, a Kaldobsky Gamer account is required for the online multiplayer, though sinse these accounts will also serve for swamp and the online bit of the original castaways, it's a pretty good deal for the princely some of 2 usd a month.

The second long awaited event here, is the anticipated sequel to Adventure to fate, battle arena, the fantastic Ios rpg battle game by Touchmint.

Quest to the future has not only a similar battle system to it's predecessor (with some improved access), but also a far more complex and rich story and a large and complex world to explore and loot.
A dark force from the future has started invading the past, and the only way of stopping this invasion is using the powers of time itself. It won't however be easy sinse the time portal is in a deep crypt, which of course contains many monsters, and once through the portal the danger increases exponentially.
Playing as classes such as ranger, mercinary cultest or mutant, accompanied by a friendly pet to assist in battle, quest to the future is the complex rpg people have been waiting for. Exploring, finding treasure, equipping many items, unlocking more pets and companions and even a battle mode, it's all here, and all accessible to vo, though it's very much suggested people check out This topic for handy tips and suggestions, in particular post two which contains a walkthru and explanation by Nolly of the game and it's mechanics.
Adventure to fate,  Quest to the future can be found on the ap store.
Best of all, for everyone who mentions audiogames.net in an ap store review, Touchmint will donate 1 usd to either afb, or this site, so in supporting adventure to fate quest to the future your not just getting a great rpg and supporting a developer who's gone well over and above the call of duty for access, but also helping to spread awareness that persons of reduced visibility can enjoy computer games as well as anyone else.

Now please excuse me, I have critters to build and buildings to slay, ----- mmmmm, I think that's the right way aroundnd, ---- take that you  foul  house you! have at you!

With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)

dark you have to have a gamer account for the castaways beta. the multi player isn't free.

I don’t believe in fighting unnecessarily.  But if something is worth fighting for, then its always a fight worth winning.
check me out on Twitter and on GitHub

Woopse, that was a bit of an oversite, I think originally the beta let you create accounts but now it's using the existing ones.

Thanks for the correction Kyleman, it's now fixed.

I never tried that Battle Arena game; I might try it or the new one.
