Yeah. Someone pointed out the configurations weren't listed in the app. That's a problem I've got to fix. The list is this:
Corvette: normal range, 300 drone bay, 3400 tons of fuel
Courier: long range, 10 drone bay, 10 tons of fuel
Carrier: short range, 900 drones, 900 tons of fuel
Runner: long range, 100 drones, 100 tons of fuel
Cruiser: normal range, 570 drones, 570 tons of fuel
Scout: +10% range, 200 drones, 200 tons of fuel
You can destroy enemy drones by dropping your own drones. If you drop an attack drone, it will kill a enemy attack drone if one is there, if not, it will kill a defense drone. If you drop a defense drone, it will kill an enemy attack drone. If you are the only player with attack drones in a system, any factory drones there are converted to your side with 50% casualties.

so how does that earn you currency then? do you get currency per drone destroyed? or is it per hundred or something? any ideas as to why it won't let me see my status?

ok so I tried the starlanes web interface. it doesn't seem to work entirely with a screen reader. for 1 thing I can't seem to send a message to anybody.
also in the leaders section I can't seem to see the information displayed there. I can see the tables but there's nothing in them as far as I can see.
also in the web interface why can't the status and all that be shown?
in addition, how do you earn experience what is it for what can you do with it how can I find out how much experience I have? I still can't get the status function to work. keeps coming up with some sort of java acception every time I try.

Sorry about the error. It was just a weird situation where there wasn't a Futatsu leader. I patch it and I should work now. What's your callsign? I'll send some talents your way.
You do get currency per drone destroyed. I can't remember exactly how much. It's not a lot. But it is per drone.
The leaders section in the web app is empty until you hit the refresh key. I was kind of lazy about that. I should log a usability bug against it. Hmm. I have to read up on how to add screen reader tags in angular. Anyway, it's not the icon at the very top, but the one further down.

I just tried it with my Echo and it's running. But I, too, can't connect to anything on Alexa when I use Roger.

Unfortunately I have no news right now. But Google Home's SDK will be released in December. We will be making a public statement about StarLanes plans soon after that. For now we've just said that we will be aiming for SubWar to be the first of our games available on both Alexa and Google Home. We're ramping up for that right now by creating a Slack robot for SubWars. That was working well until it hit a hangup the other day. And now I'm off on vacation for a week or so. So that's going to have to wait a bit as well.
I need to get fired or something so I can work on this stuff full time!

I don't have it released on the German market yet. I spent last night slowly extracting all the text from my code to make it translatable. Amazon never give warnings about upcoming features. I figured they were at least a year away from being multi-lingual. So I got caught flat footed.

because you can link alexa to rodger and enable the skill that way. doing it that way seems to log you into the American alexa so I'm thinking you may have an option there. you have to do it through the web initially but once you've connected it to your account just tell alexa to enable starlanes and in theory that should work.
