Hello, Recently I see an old version of Eloquence, Get this version:

Here you find 2 or so versions of Eloq, that it is so amucing speaking in spanish.
So is possible to make an Addonn for NVDA that doo this, or an addon that have similar versions of Eloquence, similar to the DECtalk Ac32 Addon?

I couldn't get the old versions of eloquence to work with anything other than jaws 3.3.
I got them to work with jaws 8.0 under windows xp 32 bit.
But how can I doo, if you try to Have to work?
And how to work whit that version of Eloquence with JAWS 17.0, spanish version?
17.0 probably won't work, this version is too old for it to work.
I said 8.0, not 17.0. in 8.0, using it is simply a matter of replacing the files from 6.1 with the older files.

The thing to do would be to replace the .SYN files from 6.1 with those from Eloquence 3.2, and if you do that, the addon will not work. I know this because I tried that, and did not work.
Keep in mind the voice algorhythm is slightly different in this version of eloquence, so making an nvda addon is not as easy as replacing the files. This is a completely different version of eloquence. It's not like dectalk where you can theoretically use any version of dectalk.dll.

Possibly, but it would definitely have to be recoded by hand rather than just replacing stuff.

I never said it was impossible, but I'm just saying, it isn't as simple as replacing the eloquence voice data.

Just wanted to quickly chime in and let you guys know that this add-on works great! I'm currently using it to type this message. Furthermore, it does not conflict with newer Eloquence add-ons which may be installed. It's nice to be able to have both installed simultaneously.
Now, the Eloquents I miss is the old sapi 4 via voice, the one which sounded like modern eloquence but had a weird way of pronouncing certain vowels like I, for example. Jim Kitchen used it a lot in his self voicing games.
Ahh, the good old days. Speaking of soundblaster, it'd be nice if someone could make a soundblaster tts nvda addon, but that synth is 16bit. Still, apart from the fact this addon only has Waid, it is very good!
What was the eloquence application that came with the sound blaster 16 like?
