Hi, i'm having trouble using the wings to jump over the first long chasm in Athena. I jump, then as I land, I hit the spacebar, and I hear a flap noise, but it just sounds like i'm walking, and onthing I do can make me fly, and I hit space to jump again, but jumping alone isn't enough to get over the pit

I have two questions that I didn't find answers for them in the manual:
First: How to jump? Yup I pressed the space bar, but nothing happens, and that what makes me fall in to obstacles, is there any certain item I must get?
Second: what's the use of the up and down arrow keys? I hear a foot steps when I press it? But I don't know what exactly is happening.

@Muhammad Hajjar  Yes to jump you press the space bar but to glide you must hold down the space bar, that will make jumping much easier and there is a small space where you are walking to where the up and down arrows will make a step sound but you aren't going anywhere but into a wall so there is no use for them.

Hi dark and all.
to be honest till you get your wings you need to be running and jumping when the pit appears, you have only a couple seconds to do that.
at the end of the level there is a big pit with a roon, and you edge to that and jump
Most of the game is quite simple, edge toward pits, hit enter when in streams or rivers, and on cannons.
Bar the tone sequences which are controled with the arrow keys down is the lowest up is highest and the left right keys control the other 2.
You basically just run and hit run and hit.
There are a few bugs ofcause.
sometimes edges do not sound especially in the first level, also the game will still crash randomly, if you play long enough or think you are attacked usually after the nial realm and again may do this on the final boss realm in the mountains.
To get round this I usually exit and break from the game at each couple realm.
However since you resporn instead of dieing it doesn't matter if you die.
However if it crashes you may have to start that level again.
Also once all those enemies have to go golden there is no challenge at all.
but for all that its a good game.
I have played it fully at least 10 times.
