hi, I want to make acapellas but can't seem to align tracks in audacity
and I invert the instrumental track nothing happens it just stays the same
help please

Sighties can just hit F5 or click the slide tool and manually move it, but we have to unlock the tracks and insert blocks of silence where we need it to move to.

and how about inverting the tracks?
and won't silence feature make the track silent ?

the aligning of tracks is extremely easy, and you don't have to play with silence or anything.
First, get the cursor to a certain point, then select the track you would like to move and then go Aline to cursor. Yep, it really is that easy!
With the inverting it probably would be better just googleing for the acapella since it most likely would be higher quality than if you mess with inverting and everything.
