Hello everyone,

I want to start using djay for the mac, but I'm searching for a good dj controller that is accessible and works fine. Does someone have some suggestions?

Hello, I use a Pioneer Wego 2 controller that works great with DJ. I use that setup on a weekly basis when I DJ for my radio station and such, if you want sometime, I can do like a mini podcast on it if you want. It's also vary professional  as well and works great for clubs, studio setups and a lot more. HTH.

Hello,

Thanks for your fast reply is it also possible to scratch music, play loops direct from the controller etc....
A podcast would be nice. There are no podcasts on the market about accessible dj controllers I think.

Yes, you can scratch, do some looping, do some FX and many other things. What I can do is I can try to do a podcast of it plus the setup that I use in my studio for it on Monday if  I don't have anything going on.

Hi,

I just bought a pioneer controller.
But now when I connedt it to my mac also my voiceover  speech goes to the dj controller.
Is there a way to change it so the voice doesn't come in my mix big_smile

2015-08-03 13:56:22

Hi,
yes, there is a way to change that. go to VoiceOver utilities with VO F8 and in the table, select sound, then what you want to do from there is go to the output menu and in that menu, select your headphones or what ever device you use. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Tahnks it works!
You work with the GO2 I think, because I bought the GO3?

2015-08-03 14:17:17

Is there a way to turn of the scratsh mode, because soemthime I touch the scrash wheel accientely?

2015-08-03 15:26:28

No, there is not a way to turn scratching off on these controllers. I do not have the Wego 3, I have the 2, but I'm not really sure what the different features are between the 2.
