One thing I'd love to see in this game is a similar system to the wastes in regards to cheats. What I mean is in the wastes for example, you could use a cheat in the main menu to give yourself a really good starting weapon and high health at the beginning of the game, or you could modify the text file for the starting weapon and give it a really high amount of damage. In the end however as you went through regions something would inevedabely kill you because the monsters just got more and more powerful. Can you do one of the following to limit cheating your way through the entire game:
1: Enemies and the like grow more dificult to defeat as the game progresses, and this is enhanced if you cheat.
2: The game gets to have an end coded in, and until you play through the entire thing once without cheating you can't access the cheats input.
3: Something else I haven't thought of.

I used to be a knee like you, then I took an adventurer in the arrow.

@Connor, I could add something in the save to say that cheats were used in the game and then in the stats screen to show cheats used, but aside from that I wouldn't want to penalise people for playing how they want, perhaps I could add some kind of setting to disable cheats forever, unless you redownload the game or something, kind of like a cheat killswitch! smile

Hello all, again, at this time with a bug report. I found it quite amusing and didn't want to report it but my better part got me today. smile If you buy slaver soldiers from the slaver fort when its not yours, and take the fort and free the soldiers, they're here but you get the free soldiers as well. I noticed this because my main method of taking the slaver fort in the first or second turn is that i buy all of the slae soldiers and crush the fort's defendes with them.

@Arnold18, As far as I understand this is no bug! when you hire a slave there is one less slave in the fort, if there are 1000 and you hire 800 and then capture the fort, you free all the slaves and gain 200 new troops, you have 1000 troops, no bug?

Sorry, i'll try to explain it better. So when you take your slaver soldiers from the fort or buy them, and free them after to gain the free soldiers, the slaver soldiers remain in your troop count as if its a separate unit, and you gain the free soldiers too. So you can use the slave soldiers after you freed them.

I don't know if it has been addressed or not, but the game doesn't seem to function with nvda somehow.

Languages don't influence the way we think, but they still have a world and worth in themselves. Celebrate your mother tongue, the world is a diverse place.

It functions perfectly with nvda, use the nvda object review mode to read the text in the console window.

Edit: I just tried and I can't see the issue, I bought 550 slave soldiers from the slavers fort, freed 50 of them, I gained 14 soldiers and lost 50 slave soldiers, did the same again and gained 184 soldiers and lost 500, there were no slave soldiers left.

Unless I'm understanding it wrong?

When you free slaves some of them stay with you, most won't?

Todays update is unintentionally huge, I've been working really hard on more updates to the bard system and it's been good fun, there is still more to come like the bards guild and some new musician types but for now I'm very happy with how it's all worked out, ended up working on lots of throne room stuff too, several bugfixes and a new race, also I'm looking into expanding the blackmarket, having recently added two new things to it I'm thinking it could stand to have many more new things, but with the blackmarket grown you'd better believe that the people defending it will put up more of a fight.

Today's updated adds the bards guild and finger clicking musicians which I've planned to add since the music update so here they are, the bards guild is definitely worth visiting and can be found in the second region of the west! Also the blackmarket has grown a little bit more and will keep growing, now there is a district of stalls!
