Hey all,

Thanks,

Thankyou. I acquired Eloquence speak window, as I recall there being such a topic on this forum. A quick search pulled it up and I was able to download it, soon after making a recording of eloquence sounding like a freaking drone. rofl. If you wanted to do that just put `vs3000 and then the word
are
a whole bunch of times. haha

I don't know if anyone ever mapped out pitch values to musical notes. I kinda tried and made this list (for Bobby; I don't know if it would work well with the others). Frustratingly, it appears to use percentages, but they don't seem to map well to actual percentages (otherwise the numbers would be more logarithmic):

  ‵vf₀ ‵vs60 ‵vb80 G3
  ‵vf₀ ‵vs60 ‵vb83 A3
  ‵vf₀ ‵vs60 ‵vb86 b3
  ‵vf₀ ‵vs60 ‵vb88 C4
   ‵vf₀ ‵vs60 ‵vb91 D4
   ‵vf₀ ‵vs60 ‵vb94 e4
   ‵vf₀ ‵vs30 ‵vb95 f4
  ‵vf₀ ‵vs60 ‵vb98 G4
   ‵vf₀ ‵vs30 ‵vb100 A4

I think that last one should be A flat / G sharp. It doesn't really sound in tune.
I think F sharp is 97, in case you want to change that to be a major scale.

That also worked with Reed. I had figured out the pitches for the octive below that a while back, and the way I did it was basing it off the fact that 68 made a perfect
‵vf0 ‵vs60 ‵vb68 c.
So, it would make sense that 72 would make the
‵vf0 ‵vs60 ‵vb72 D
since the main increment is 4, although it can vary to 3 or 2 sometimes. really, it would be wise to chart all the pitches so that you can figure out what the notes are 1 time and don't have to fittle with it anymore afterwards. VB99 would make the best g-sharp sounding note. I have perfect pitch so can usually tell what the note is I'm hearing and if the pitch is in the center of the note or not.

@cae_jones, thanks for the pitch table. I might use it to contribute to my tts preschool album. I'm awaiting blindncool's versions of "10 in the bed" and "I am going slightly mad", both for dectalk.

@severestormsteve1
Yes,  if you can get IBM Viavoice SAPI4 in any way you can use TextAloud from Nextup (commercial) or Balabolga (freeware) to generate spoken audio with Eloquence.

@12 haha. I scrolled over it with NVDA eloquence and had to restart the synth because it stayed very low pitch. haha.

Oh my god. Rofl. How do you do this. Seriously this is the coolest and creepyest thing ever. Someone explain how to do this i need to do it.

As for the program, would anyone mind posting a link?

When Eloquence on NVDA does the pitch glitch, all you have to do is switch the person. I just use ctrl+nvda+arrows.
Unless we're using different versions of Eloquence/NVDA that work differently. sad

Hey eloquence users, I have a question for you.

How would you like it if I made juarasjuasjuasjuasjua?
Like, I mean, if I made your sentences cut juarasjuasjuasjuasjuasjua. That would, be very mean.

isn't there something you have to do with NVDA to make eloquence sing the notes instead of announcing the numbers? I used to know what to do but I've forgotten.
