Hi.

Does the new game Audiodyssey work for you? I don't find the install-program accesible. It just bring up a window called Audiodyssey with know accessible informations. The Jaws curser doesn't give me informations either. What is your experiences?

Best regards SLJ.

I have the same experiences as you. I've tried this kind of inaccessible installers sometimes ago. Well a good choike to make accessible game is to make accessible install, I suppose tongue.

The developers just said hit enter over and over. But, if its installing and you hit enter wouldn't that hit enter on "cancel button"?

Fair enough with a beta version, but if they really want to make it accessible, they must make the installer accessible so we can use the product. It shouldn't be so difficoult to make a accessible installer.

Best regards SLJ.

Hi,

This is Eitan, the lead developer on the project. I want to apologize to all of you for the installer problems - unfortunately, we're a student game lab, and we only had access to one installer program, which apparently is not as accessible as we had hoped. We're trying to fix the problem now - I will be posting new directions on how to install in the readme, and hopefully we can get a new, accessible installer.

Thanks for your patience. If you have comments on the game, please feel free to drop me a line at eitan [at] eitanglinert [dot] com.

Cheers!

Hi,
As an acceessible installer, you could use Inno Setup from:
http://www.jrsoftware.org
And click on the "Ino Setup" link.

Eitan,

Try Nullsoft: http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page

It's free and easy to use.

We had the same experience you did.
We used InstallShield at first, because I'm familiar with it.

Ugly, ugly, ugly for blind users

After a colleague who is blind suggested Nullsoft, I'm never going back to InstallShield.

If you have any questions on this, please do contact me.

Yeah, i would suggest Inno two. Install shield is ok, but Inno, just rocks!

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I've changed the readme file on the website to include instructions for how to use install shield (a temporary fix) and I'm going to try making a new installer using your suggestions.
Cheers,
Eitan
