I am writing this onbehalf of the Tapinradio Developers:
"Dear users,
Do you know Tapin-radio project - the Internet radio player? And do you
regularly use Tapin-radio to listen to your fave stations? If the answer to
both of these question is yes we have a huge appeal to you however we are
fully aware of the fact the plea is not quite popular among people. Would
you guys be willing to contribute or donate with a few bucks per month for
us to be able to keep our head above the water maintaining the servers
traffic and things around the database updates? Now we've reached the
magical number of 27 thousands of stations worldwide and as you can notice
there're plenty of new stations there every week. Of course we don't want
to force you sending us a big amount of dinero, just let's say 3 Dollars a
month. The idea is simple. The more people decide to contribute the less
amount of money is needed to pay separately from every-one of you. There's
nothing extra getting stuck in our pockets as this is rather external job
we're doing. We have major full-time jobs to pay our bills and don't want
abusing Tapin-radio for that purpose whatsoever.
The problem is that having business Paypal account costs way much more
money than personal one we actually have even though this type of account
doesn't offer the automatic regularity in relation to sending money so it'd
have to be done manually being a real pain. So if you decide to contribute
to us you might welcome sending the adequate amount of money at once for
half year or perhaps annually. If you decide to do so please send it at
[email protected]
checking "friends or family" in the form. Not "business or goods" because
this type of transfer requires extra additional fees to Paypal unlike the
first option.
Remember the basic idea. The more contributors will be the less money from
each of you is needed to be paid. And of course when you need any station
to be either fixed or added feel free to shoot us a message or better
submit it in the desired form.
