I've had this stewing around for awhile, but finally decided to release it into the wild. For those of you looking for a chance at a million dollars, here's my version of Deal or no Deal, based on the U.S. game show.
There's a small ReadMe in the program but this should basically be self explanatory. Press F1 within the game to get help.
Any feedback is of course welcome. Hope you win a million.
Version 1.01 fixes a couple of screen reader bugs and adds a bit more help text.

Hi, It sounds so realistic. Just like the game on TV sounds. I like how you have the host of the show saying some things too, like open the case. The bank calls are perfect!!!!!

This is freaking sweet! Thanks so much for this, I always have wanted to play this game!
The gameplay is just like the show, excellent work! I love it!

I'm getting a 404 error when I try to download.

The glass is neither half empty nor half full. It's just holding half the amount it can potentially hold.

2015-02-16 00:46:43

Same, actually...
If this persists, could someone put the game on DB?

2015-02-16 00:58:44

Hello. The link doesn`t work. Error 404. Not found.

Thanks, Vojta.

Anybody having a hard time with this download I thought I'd post a DB link for a few days.

Get it at:

Thanks for the link.
I also noticed that if you go to the main Bestmidi site, where the game is supposed to be hosted, there doesn't seem to be a way to access it from there, either. There's not even a games section, as far as I can tell.

The glass is neither half empty nor half full. It's just holding half the amount it can potentially hold.

We don't have it linked up from the main Bestmidi site. It looks like our old server is getting hit by some of you. SO I've mirrored the file over there so the link should work now either way. Enjoy the game.

Great game! One thought, and it's only a thought.
Would you think of ever having the game self-voiced? There was once produced "deal or no deal: the DVD game". It had audio files for just about everything. I think I still have a copy that I could dig up.  Would you think of using that audio?

wow... I miss that show. at Malaysia, it was also have thishow... now it's a game. I love it. keep it up man

Harrylst,
There may be a way to get some of the additional prompts voiced, but some things, such as every possible offer amount may not be possible. Same goes with all of the model names, etc. Also, the DVD version often has audio with crowd noise and other nuances in the background.
I do appreciate the suggestion however and there's always a possibility.

holey hell. my heart beet always getting faster every time I play... hmm

jsquared good job on the game. are you going to make any games with a similar feel. mabey like a jeopardy game wih alex trabeck? just wondering.

Blindness isn't a disability, but a diffrent way of seeing things

2015-02-16 21:03:11

We'll see. Jeopardy and other similar games are trickier because they need to have questions.

2015-02-16 21:22:11

A very fun game with excellent attention to detail, demonstrated  by the accurate and high quality sound design, voicing, music, game specific sound effects, and crowd ambiance taken from the show it's self, and support for screen readers with an uncluttered and easy interface.  From a developer that seems to actually interact with the community in a meaningful way, and went through with an idea all the way from start to end.

2015-02-16 22:38:23

OMG... this is an awesome game. It has just the right mix of realistic voices and screen reader to keep file size down.  It is perfect for the blind, with a nice interface and a lot of replayability (or maybe that's because I watched this show so often as a kid)

Thanks for fixing the main link.
I enjoy playing this game a lot. Believe it or not, I never really watched the show when it aired. I know, I must have been living under a rock, because I do remember how popular it was, but I never got into it.
But it's a cool game.

The glass is neither half empty nor half full. It's just holding half the amount it can potentially hold.
