I got a vocaloid 2 version of the hatsune miku voice.
I have 2 questions before I install it:
1. will hatsune miku work with English?
2. are vocaloid 2 voices compatible with the version 3 editor?

going back to the greg and steve conversation, I think the mixing of the song was more recent, maybe to compete with charlet diomonds work. (she was the "greg and steve" of Canada).
I had gte original version on cassette since 1999.

I do know that there are quite a few Vocaloid II voices that work with English, but I don't know what those are other than Luca, Tonio, Sweet Ann, and Big Al. But yes, they do work with Vocaloid III editor.
Also, is there a way to find those recordings, maybe you could upload a recording of Twelve months and see if it's the one? I did a few YouTube searches but have had no luck.

I was on piratebay a long time ago and found a collection of several kids albums, one of which was a greg and steve one. it didn't have the 12 months song, but it did have the days of the week one (again, with separate tracks for the English and Spanish versions), which must have been made about the same time.

I just got oliver, which sounds like it could be another of the English voices, but I want to make sure with someone else first, just in case. update: it seams it's it's an English voice afterall. I launched the setup for the library and oliver started singing scarburrow fair (based on the traditional irish version rather than the simon and garphuncle one).

I'm downloading the vocaloid editor with almost all the voices including big al, oliver, sweet anne, hatsune miku etc.
also, message to Yamaha: I encourage you to make a library of seth mac farlane's voice, and that of alex borstign (voice of lois on family guy)

I didn't know there was a difference in the lyrical arrangement of Scarborough Fair. What differs between the one that has been originally passed down and the one that has been modified? Yeah, the Vocaloid III voices have setups that can let you hear the language to which they sing, but the II ones don't. The Vocaloid I voices seem to be gone, as they are no longer available. Oliver's voice is based off of a twelve or thirteen-year-old choirboy. Oliver isn't his real name though. There's a Vocaloid Wiki that you could probably find more information on. I've been interested to get Flinger which was used to sing Fraire Jacque, but I don't know what one will need.

Bruno is good. I'd say leon but I don't he's compatible with newer versions like the v2 ones (ann, hatsune miku...)

I will eventually release it to the general public but coppy-paste doesn't work with ks-web access.
