Hi all, what's the best way to delete candidates from a cell? The only method I've figured out is to first write a number in that cell (enter plus number)as if it was the correct one, then to press enter and delete that number. Trouble is, when I do this, the number I have entered is deleted from any nearby cell that included it as a candidate. Any tip? Thanks a lot

Candidates are simply toggled by pressing the corresponding number. So:

- to add a candidate "3" to a cel, press "3"
- to remove the candidate "3" from a cel, press "3" again

You only use [enter]+[number] to add that number to a cel. So:

- to add a number "3" to a cel (and automatically removing all candidates), press [enter] and then "3"
- to delete the number "3" in a cel, (this won't restore removed candidates), press [enter] and then [delete]

Is this helpful?

Richard
