Well i've finally tried this one.
it's deffinately good to see a propper football game, and one that requires some stratogy which is rather nice, so congrats on that, the music and sound also fit very well.
I particularly like the setup here with the game being turn based, sinse it actually lets you play strategicaly, though equally there does seem to be an element of chance as well, which is quite good going.
i also approve of an audio game which has graphics sinse from a low vision perspective that's helpful too.
From a tactical perspective, one rather odd thing I found was that some of the moves mentioned in the documentation like violent defense didn't show up in the menue for some reason, though I could understand those being disabled in the trial version of the game or in the practice game.
I also would've rather liked a way to actually know where players are on the pitch, sinse currently knowing whether to pass the ball to another of your players, whether to go right or left etc seems a litle random.
You could do this either by having keys that would report the position of each playerfor instance 1-5 for your team and 6-0 for the enemy, which could give a message like "top center of England's half" thus letting you coordinate things a bit more.
Another way around this might be (sinse there are only 5 players a side), to simply have a number of audio kews played to distinguish how close your and the enemy players are to the ball, that wa you could know when to pass the ball as the enemy was closing in.
You might even have some sort of sterrio panning system for this.
There were really only two things I was less keen on here, the voices and speach.
While I can understand using recorded speech (especially sinse English is obviously not your first language Keroro, unfortunately the voices you've got are a litle unclear in places. you might therefore considder having some voice files recorded in human speech to add to the game, or at least finding a better synth such as those at seerprock.
If you'd like to get the files recorded, there are plenty of people here who might be able to help, ---- including myself, in fact having many people do different bits of recording for this would be nice especially with all the different players and team names (a different voice for each teams players would be awsome if possible). I in fact looked for the voice files to see how many there were and if recording them would be relatively doable, but they seemed to be in a format I didn't know and I couldn't play them.
The second thing while understandable, is probably stil something to think about, namely that while I understand English isn't your first language, some of the messages were a litle confusing, particularly when attacking or defending a player, the game seemed to get the names of players wrong, for instance if my player Blackpool was trying to take the ball from a German player Weimar, I'd get the message "can you stop a pass from blackpool?" Which was a litle confusing at first.
Again perhaps this is something that could be sorted out (i'd once more be glad to help), to insure the game is as good as possible.
Lastly, there is the matter of price.
Very few audio games are as much as 39 usd to buy, you can see a list at www.pcsgames.net. While I certainly think the game is! worth paying for especially with the league mode and such, it's obvious a great deal of work has gone into it, I'm not sure about the 39 usd price.
I know the dollar is doing badly at the moment which obviously is not good for pricing when your using another currency, there is a similar problem in England with the pound, however for international matters the dollar is stil something of a standard, ---- indeed I can think of Uk developers that sell only in dollars and have prices accordingly.
obviously what you charge for the game is entirely up to you, but you might think about asking say 25 or 30 usd for it to be more in line with the prices of other audio games and thus encourage more people to buy it, sinse obviously having 20 copies sold at 30 usd would be better than having 10 copies sold at 39.
As I said, this isn't meant to say the game is bad quality, only that considdering what other audio games cost I'm not sure how many people will want to pay that much for it, and it'd be better if you sold as many copies as possible than have people put off by the price.
Of course as I said, this is entirely up to you Keroro, this is just my thoughts.
With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)
