Hey all.
I don't know if any of the admins, moderators, or what have you, can answer this.
I've always wondered how to make a forum like this. So nice, neat, and organized. I am currently learning HTML, HTML5, PHP, and some JavaScript, but I read online that in order to make forms and other kind of means of user interaction, you need to use CGI and Perl. Can anybody describe the method of learning CGI and Perl if this was what was used to creat this forum? If not, can someone tell me what service they use to creat this forum?

hi,
i'm  not an admin , but i know how the forum was made,
it's a service called pun bb,
and if you have a website, you can install it on to it,
the easiest way  is through ssh, which is  a linux interface.

There are a lot of free forum services out there that are pretty usable.
A couple years ago I might have recommended proboards, but their ads have gotten to be a problem that causes firefox to crash not so rarely.

So, yeah, pun bb sounds like a better solution. I know nothing about how to set it up, though.
