It's a very...very long story... I think the first place to start is...Well... Hmm, well, probably actually the bsg blog post as it has all of the links to the relevant topics that began the discussion. From there, Dark's resignation, then the announcement of Jayde becoming a mod. Then, probably Aprone's resignation, followed by aprone's question on official topics and unofficial topics. That should bring the topic you were reading into some context. Then I would recommend reading the resignations of the other mods. Finally, the healing topic, Aaron's proposal, and finally, Jayde's proposal and Jayde's topic on seeking new mods. Few. Let me go grab links.

Few...That's a lot. Anyways, that should get you started. It's hard to list everything in order as it happened, but do know that there has been a resolution to the entire affair. We are now just working on making sure things run smoothly from here on out. Also, this should probably be moved to site and forum feedback. Anyways, do enjoy that reading. There's a lot of it.

@Jaseoffire my gosh you get a thumbs up here, you got it in chronological order as well.
What I will say is that in hindsight everything that's happened recently has been rather civil and has not blown up.
As I've said in my admin update, from January I'm going to be looking into things such as appointing new staff and I'll be contacting the list, and the forum, about other things too, with a tentative deadline for April to get things sorted.
