For people who want more tags to experiment with, here are a few I have come across, taken from the Eloquence manual.

v1 through v8 change voices.
vr0 to 100 changes roughness.
vy0 to 100 adjusts the breathiness.
vh0 to 100 changes head size, with 50 being the default.
vv0 to 100 adjusts volume.

For anyone who is wondering where to get the Eloquence manual and speak Window to let you send text to Eloquence and have it spoken, here are two links.
Link 1 - Speak Window: http://www.grossgang.com/tts/old_softwa … window.exe
Link 2 - Manual: http://www.grossgang.com/tts/old_softwa … loqman.zip

hmm, guys. this thread made me think of something.
Why don't we create an story  using the eloquence tags to change eloquence's voice,  pitch etc. we'd have a set of different characters and stuff. we just need a plot to follow. maybe we can set it to be a never ending story or something.
just for thought.

‵vf100 Hello all! Eversince I heard about decktalk and sapi tags, I thought playing around with Eluquence is just not possible! You proofed me wrong, so thank you very much for bringing this interesting topic up here! As long as this stays in the forum, because some of the tags I read do completely mess up eloquence, eventually crashing it, I am okay with it. We had this issue in Klango, that people were playing around with sapi tags everywhere, so please, keep in mind that those tags don't work with other speech synthesizers and for those who use eloquence, don't annoy them in other places than the specified threads, created for playing around with eloquence and other speech synthesizers. ‵v4 Thanks for listening!

So long!

Getting the speak window is a good way to make sure it works correctly the first time through. plus you can use the ` key which is convenient because its readily accessible, right next to the 1 on the number row, at least for US keyboard layout

mayana, you don't press alt and 9; that inserts a character (one that I cannot identify because eloquence doesn't read it), and it blocks the numbers thus making your tag ineffective.
