the new version of the album is finally here, and it's no april fools prank either! in addition to the updates I mentioned in the previous announcement, Merry had a little lamb (the keynote gold version) has been correctly creddited to tyler zanche, and another version (for dectalk) was dun by blake roburts. as well, all of jeff's bns songs (and a dectalk version of unterlanders hiemwa) were added, as was a version of "while stroling through the park" for dectalk curdisy of patrick perdue.
the link is the same, look at post 34.
datajake1999, could you update your coppy of the album to the latest version whenever I update it?

Say, American Dad, is this Nick, the guy I spoke to on the phone last week?
I forgot to tell you that I need to revisit a lot of these children's songs, because I already forgot most of them LOL. So I'd have to listen to them, research them, and memorise them before using them with Vocaloid. Also, I recently had to get another computer because the one I had before was stolen. back in November while I was dragon boating. As such, I found out that I had purchased a 128-GB model. So now I am stuck with ten GB remaining. This is a Mac computer with a Windows partition that was made using Bootcamp. I had to dismantle my desktop computer because it wasn't working. Since the hard drie contained sensitive data like credit card information, I had to physically destroy it just in case.

good news everybody!
I just got my dropbox upgrated to pro, which gives me a teribite of storage. now, I can better maintain updates to the album.
the next album will be the last to contain new content from the dectalk archive as that has been pretty mutch exausted. this means I will need contributions from you. (I'm looking at you guilevi for not doing your versions oof there are 7 days by my birthday!)

warning, a mountain of requests below!
since this album was last updated, barney and friends had it's 24th aniverserie (coincidentally, so did windows 3.1). as such I'm requesting versions of other barney and friends songs for the next update. (I will probably include videos of songs I'm requesting in future edits to this.)
songs I am requesting right now are:
everyone is special
what I want to be
when I grow up
my family's just right for me

I am still interested in contributing to this album. I will still be able to use Chipspeech, but I am using Famitracker for some of the backing tracks and for recording them I am using a TNS-HFC 5, which was a NSF cart for the Famicom that accepts NSF files on an SD card. I am still gonna be using Chipsounds though for tracks that aren't using 2A03. Since you mentioned Barney, I am actually working on one song from Barney as well that's currently in the works. When that's done I will upload the file as well as the instrumental in MP3 format.

And for some tracks, some backup vocals will be using some of my Vocaloids that I have on my computer as well.

It's going well. I am using Famitracker for the track itself and probably will be using either Vocaloid or Chipspeech *one or the other or I could use both if I so wanted to*.
I just need to do some editing/tuning on some of the channels, and when that is done, I'll do a recording of the file through my TNS-HFC5 NSF cart, and use that recording to add the vocals later on. Again, I may be using either Chipspeech or Vocaloid, depending on which one works out.

2016-04-28 20:58:30

Though for some talking parts in My Family's Just Right For Me, which is the one I'm doing, I'll have to use another synth for those parts, since frankly I don't know how to do pitch bends with Vocaloid to give the illusion of talking, even though I know it's possible to do it manually., so will have to use another synth for that, though the trickiest part is to get it in time with the background music, which using a synth like DECtalk or Willow Pond, isn't that hard to do since I just have to start out with a raw text string, then mess with the vfactor parameter, which measures how long vowels are sustained for.

i downloaded the vocaloid 4 editor and now i am downloading the 32 gigs of the singerslibrarise

I believe he got them from a Vocaloid blog site that contained a few things Vocaloid related, mostly Vocaloid4 Free Edition voicebanks. He must have gotten the torrent file that contained 36 GB or more of voicebanks that I once had, but don't have anymore since I bought mine outright nowadays.

2016-04-29 15:55:55

That may not be the only place to get those files, but that's the only place I know of where one can get them, as far as I can tell.

2016-04-29 16:23:44

could you give me the links? I only had a different one with about 15gb of voices, and it didn't have the English version of hatsune miku, which might be in this one. speaking of which, is anyone interested in doing a vocaloid version of inu no yamawaru san?
