I agree regarding to the friend whispers. It's awesome they are not being read automatically, but still having them in the buffer is annoying. I mean, there is a reason for people want them to be turned off. It's like wiping an insect away, but it still sits on your plate, but it doesn't touch you.

well, if i'm not wrong, paypal gives you the option to pay direcdtly with the credit card as a guest. if that's not available either well, then aprone could add a payment with credit card to his website, but you have to keep in mind that he's busy with his own job, and what he's doing on the audiogames community is just a part from his spare time.

Hi Aprone.
I wanna mention a really odd issue which suddenly happened to me yesterday.
My character suddenly, and randomly started to turn a bit to the left, even without touching the mouse. If I was heading north, it turned to the northwest. If i was heading east, it turned to northeast. That happened when I was sidestepping, running backwards, using my weapon or even when I was standing still and doing nothing.
I tried all the screen resolutions which usually fixes those weird issues, but that didn't helped. My conclusion was that an update to Windows 10 simply has broke my Swamp, until the issue suddenly got fixed, and it was all fine.
I have no idea on what fixed the issue. Any clue on how to bugfix this? The issue is so critical so it's impossible to play the game when your character randomly starts to turn like this.

SLJ, if your mouse was not set perfectly flat, it can cause a slight drift in one direction. I've had everything from a food crum, to animal hair lift one part of the mouse just enough that the beam gets angled a bit and drifts the cursor. It is also possible to have a smudge on the lens of the mouse (the bottom of it), or a reflective surface the mouse is being used on also cause drifting. These would be my guesses.

I am successfully using an XBox controller with Swamp. There is only one thing which would make my life easier. Keyboard controls that would switch weapon categories, E.G. melee, pistols, etc, and then keys to go up/down in each category. Right now it is nearly impossible to select weapons because of a feature like this not existing. Thanks!

You've probably got it installed on a path that has spaces in it, I've seen that cause trouble for me before. Try moving it to see what happens

I hope aprone won't mind but I've taken the liberty of putting up a full zip of swamp patched to 3.8 if anybody wants it. reason being for people in Europe and some other places the download should be a lot faster and it's all ready to go. just run the checkup.exe if you are using it for the first time and you should be up and running. also, a few years ago I made a self installer for swamp that put icons on the desktop and in the start menu, plus also gave options for uninstall and all that fun stuff and automatically ran checkup.exe during installation. if people would find that useful I am willing to do a new version of that if aprone has no objection. the last one did get a lot of downloads though so I assume people did find it useful.
