Hi guys. Here is the speech library I use for grave of redemption, along with other games. It is based off jason sw's original speech manager, but I've added some new features to it.
The biggest addition is speech delay for screen readers. If you set your speech mode to be your screen reader in the speech options, you can then choose set speech delay, just like how it works in g o r. THe speech delay functions are smart enough to know how long numbers are, as well. Note though, that you should only use speech delay in English because of the way it checks the lenghths of numbers.
I've also added a speech history buffer option that stores the last 100 things the speech said. The speaking function come with an optional parameter that lets you prevent a message from being added to the buffer, such as a confirmation message or something.
Most of the functions are documented in the source. Let me know what you think. And feel free to use it in your games!

Hi,
I don't think i'm using the speech manager correctly. could someone help me figure out what my problem is? For some reason, even though I set the speech delay and such, my screen reader doesn't seem to say each message and wait before the next one. it just plows on ahead and I miss many messages.
