hi,
after my college term completes, I might be able to do a playthrough on hard difficulty.
Hi. I'm new to these forums. I'm wondering how you get the story to continue after you get to the world lounge. thanks.
Jess
Hi,
If Aaron is checking this threat, I'll buy this game for sure if there will be the same great sound design as in Manamon. Lacking even footstep sounds in paladin of the sky.
Yeah, it would be very nice if aaron do an update and add some steps sound, and improved vall tones.
Any way I can get my key back? Totally lost the computer/email I had them on.
I'm almost 100% certain that Paladin is all finished. He's not going to add stuff to it, and will probably focus his efforts on Manamon from here on out. I mean, he abandoned PsychoStrike, didn't he? It stands to reason that a game which has been out for a couple of years now, and which hasn't had a serious update in awhile, probably isn't getting one. Paladin is very playable and not buggy at all from what I've seen, and Aaron doesn't seem interested in cleaning up the script and stuff, so I'd just take your losses and either get used to Paladin without footsteps, or play Manamon instead.
If you lost your key, do you still have the email with your paypal receipt info? Failing that, your Paypal account itself might have the info. You might have to go digging and find that info, then mail it to vgstorm.com as proof that you did in fact buy the game. If you do that, he should be able to provide you with a copy of your unlock code.
Makes sense. Thanks.
Well, as I observed, he's not answering to e-mails in general. Why? good question but yeah...
Either way paypal history won't go back that far for some reason, so I guess I can't get it back. Not spending another 40.
That's why I never delete emails with my registration keys. I've purchased all the games from vgstorm.com (except Manamon due to lack of money) and all my mails with registration keys are still in my archive. And that's for a simple reason: I never know when my external hard drive will say bye bye.
It actually does look like this game has been updated recently. Important additions appear to be that you can now practice scrolls from the menu with feedback, rather than just listening to them, and the ability to preview a scroll, not practice, once per battle. Sadly, still no footstep sounds or better wall tones.
it's not updated. It's always like that.
I'll confirm tomorrow. I opened the changes.txt file in my version, and the latest change, I believe, had a 2016 date. Since there is no obvious version history on the website, that I found anyway, that's where I'm getting my info. Again, though, I'll check again tomorrow. Its possible I misread.
Just a correction, the last version -which is 1.3- was released in December 16th, 2014. You can check that from the changes text file included with the game's files.

Hello every one and welcome by my 8th part of Paladin of the sky.
We reached 5 likes on the previous playthrough.
If we can get five likes that would be amazing.
But anyway, here is the playthrough.

I've beaten this game six ways to Sunday and have no further interest in it, but I did try and listen to your playthrough.
That voice you're using? It's god-awful. Even if I was chomping at the bit to hear a walkthrough of this game, I would be unwilling to sit and listen to that voice narrate the shoddy script and everything else in the game. Just...ugh. Makes my skin crawl. That voice is among the worst synths I've ever heard. And I've heard a bunch.
Hi all and welcome by my 9th playthrough of Paladin of the sky.
If we can get 4 likes, I'll be uploading tomorrow.

Hi all and welcome by my 12th playthrough of Paladin of the sky.
@Jayd: I'm gonna try to use other voices in my next playthrough.
But in this playthrough: we'll go through the tower of regret.
If we can get 4 likes that would be amazing.

@Microsoftsam203:
Thank you for doing this. I hope you will be the first one, as far as I know, to actually complete a playthrough of this thing. I personally have no problem with eSpeak, though if you have it you might consider using eloquence for NVDA, since almost everyone seems to like that synthesizer.
To Aaron Baker, I doubt you'll read this, but would love to see this game updated with a full complement of sounds. While I normally don't have a problem playing games with little to no sounds or sounds that bring an atmosphere of classic era gaming, this game has enough flaws in my opinion that good sounds might make it more playable.
Would also like to see this updated with the code used in manamon to save the position of a musical track when you go into battle or into the menu and restart the song at that point.
Don't worry, anyone else who reads this. I understand completely that I'm probably taking a shot in the dark at this point and I know posts like this are probably a dime a dozen. Worth a try again though.
@david_solomon1, Thanks and yes, I have elloquence for NVDA.
