hello,
do you have any tips for a newby just beginning a transition to bgt from quorum (the programming language sodbeans uses)?
I have some quorum knowledge from taking programming classes in school.

Hello.
Here are a couple differences from the languages
First, BGT has more gaming functions than Quorum does. BGT also has more screen reader availability and sound classes are easier to understand the capabilities. I who has not developed in BGT that much(I have only made part of a little game due to lack of sounds) but I have inspected the function reference. The drawback to BGT is it does not have an IDE like Sodbeans, so we cannot determine if there is an error until we actually run the program. BGT also sort of lacks in Music availability. So generally what I'm trying to say is, if you want to code games, go with BGT and if you want to code other than games, stick with Quorum.
I hope this helps
