Hey all,
I ordered a new computer, windows 7 home Premium 32-bit. I am looking for any advice as to what programs can run and if someone could post a link to direct-exe and any other programs I will need to run games like Aprone's Swamp, I do not like microsoft site so direct dropbox links are greatly appreciated, this is a fast ass computer and I cannot wate to get it. Computer specs: intell 3.4 duo-core 750GB hard drive, 4GB Ram.
Nikos, you will likely need to register those 1 or 2 files which are mentioned in the Swamp readme.txt file. That should be all you need to do, and once those are registered all of my games will work from that point forward.

Not to be harsh, but we, at least myself, don't really know what's your preferred setup. If you like programming, I could post a ton of programming IDEs, runtime files, help documents, etc, but if you are an end user, it wouldn't help much. Also, with about 5 minutes of googling you could find all these, but... Either way, here are a couple of thinks I think are the best. Some commercial, some free:

http://foobar2000.com A great media player/manager/cd ripper/audio converter.
http://ghisler.com A file manager.
http://www.mozilla.org Firefox and Thunderbird, web browser and mail client.
http://www.7-zip.org A packer, to compress and uncompress files.
http://www.miranda-im.org Multi protocol and purpose instant messenger.
http://akelpad.sourceforge.net A text editor.
