Dear all,

So, I just discovered this game that I've played over and over for a while.  I'm sure you've heard of it, it's the rhythm game made by Invisible games. It's called Captain Dynamite and the Fallen Hero.

The  synopsis of the story is your a hero taking down bad guys. What is unique about the game though is your following the rhythm of the music as your doing it, and entries for actions such as punch and kick are time-sensitive.  It is truly a captivating game. I have played through it 6 times now, and it does not get old.

I know that most of you on the forum will be familiar with games such as Rhythm Heaven, and Space Channel 5, and you'll respond with "It's another clone."  It's a Captivating story that really emerses you in the life of a superhero.  I enjoy playing the game.

The only thing that is wrong with it is that it's way too short. It only has 2 chapters, and it's a demo. It doesn't seem like the company has released either a full version or more chapters to the game. It's really a shame.

If anyone knows what happened to the developer, post on the forum as to the cause of things not working out so well. It truly is a gem this game, and I recommend you all play the 2 chapters available if you haven't already.

I did contact him a couple of years ago and ask what was going on, he said  had let the project slide and hadn't completed it as planned, but was thinking of porting it to other systems and getting things going again, but we've not heard anything since then which is a bit of a shame since  game was rather fun, if a little easy.

Just gave the demo another run through. The gameplay is rather easy, but the soundtrack and the way your actions fit into it is really awesome.
I actually wonder if we should drop the developer an email just to let him know we  remember the game and would be interested if he did fancy continuing development.

I email the developer  a month ago, I havent heard anything back from him. But on the captain dynamite website it's says the game come out early in 2019. I dont know who taking over that game.

hmm, sound raskel. apparently that's the name of hte new company taking over the project. btw kinda off topic, but our beloved the walking dead the game is to be completed even after telltail died! skybound finally finished up with the paperwork crap, and episode 3, broken toys, comes out on jan 15th, 2019. checkout its teazer! soo excited! big_smile

a version is said to be planned in 2019. we'll see how that goes

never heard of this game, and all I can say is wow. the voice acting and story of the game was outstanding. I mean that voice acting was really really good. gameplay was even pretty cool, def will pick up any project from this dev in the future

This game doesn't take itself too seriously and it's kinda cute. A tiny bit touchy with my keyboard, but the difficulty curve is such that you can totally blow a sequence or two and you still seem to get the same results. The background tracks and voice acting are pretty good, too.
