Hi.
@Diego
If you want to compile eSpeak NG for Android yourself, there is a tutorial on how to do it on the official eSpeak NG GitHub page.

Hello.

Is Espeak compatible with Android Oreo? I've heard, it isn't.

and is it real, Espeak will be removed from Nvda screenreader? I've heard about it and it is really sad news.

Best regards

Vojta.

I don't think so as long as operating systems not containing OneCore voices are supported. Either way we could re-install it as an NVDA add-on if it ever gets removed, which I think will not happen, so there is no need to worry.

Many people like espeak, I incluiído. One of the reasons he probably won't be removed is the response time. Even with the improvements made in the windows one core, still a delay as well large if we compare it with the vocalizer, eloquence and espeak.

I found a bug with the version available.
It does not boost the speed, even set to 450 words per minute, leaving for example at 100 in the text settings for speech of the android does nothing, it continues to lately slow.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello.

I like Espeak to. I am using it and it's great. I would like to help you with Espeak for Android, but, sadly, I don't know anything about compilling apps for Android, I am sorry.

Hello.

And thanks for your answers, I feel better now. Espeak is my favourite voice.
