Hi. For some reason I've been having trouble accessing vg storm's website. When I try to go to the site chrome states that this site can't be reached. something about connection refused. I'm pretty sure that this has nothing to do with my firewall or antivirus program. Any ideas on how to overcome this?

Thanks.

It's working for me, www.vgstorm.com. If it's still not working for you, it's probably something to do with your firewall or Internet connection, I guess.

Hi. I've tried adjusting the firewall settings it's not working. I'm thinking it might be easier just to ask for what I wanted to get from their website on here.

Thanks.

Pretty sure you can get all of their games from Audio Game Archive. If that doesn't work, I could upload the games to Dropbox for you. Maybe check your Hosts file?

Yes, I definitely left the forum. Mhm. Why would you have any doubt?

Hi. No, I was just looking for that zip file containing the manamon wall tone patch for paladin of the sky.

Thanks.

Try to clear out your cookies

Add me on Skype, search for The Evil Chocolate Cookie

@6: That probably won't help. If the error is connection refused, that means something is blocking the op's ability to go to vgstorm.com, and that happens long before any cookies are checked by that site.

@7, I only said this because something similar happened to me with another site, and getting rid of cookies seemed to fix it.

I am able to go to the site just fine.  Try in a different browser if possible.

Have you by chance, used any crack for Manomon? If so, those block access to the VG storm's server, and what you must do is reset your hosts file.

Wait, it does? I thought it just didn't allow you to play online and reverted to demo mode.

Oh no! Somebody released the h key! Everybody run and hide!

That feel when a pirate outs himself on the forum. Good stuff.

Take care, it's a desert out there.

Hi. What's this about resetting my host file? How would I go about this?

Thanks.

Yeah. If he's indeed a pirate, that's karma at its finest.  If not? Well...not sure why else you'd change your hosts file, if indeed you did you should have backed it up first. Indeed, this is why in Android, for example, the hosts file that unanimously blocks most ads came with the original hosts file in case you needed to bring it back.

Hi. I am most certainly not a pirate, in fact, I discourage such behaviour. Maybe it's something wrong with my internet connection or firewall. I'll have to figure out something I am fairly decent with tech. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Thanks.

Honestly guys, don't draw conclusions so fast. Even if he is a pirate, he did not share the crack on the forum nor encouraged the use of it. What if somebody cracks the game, realizes it is wrong or has the ability to buy it but cannot access the site due to previous use of cracks? Such a question should normally be allowed in my opinion. doing this also fixed the problem I had with manamon

I am a divine being. I can be called a primordial deity, but that might be pushing it, a smidge. I am the only one of my kind to have ten tails, with others having nine. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I have ascended my own race.

That's why I didn't want to straight up leave my original post as being a pirate because I kind of doubted myself, what with the somewhat  sleazy behavior of some router firewalls. Some don't even allow port forwarding, even the ability to specifically set it up. That's why I don't think it would ever be a good idea to go full lte yet, as that is a shared resource so you have absolutely no control of your router. That is if anyone has even taken that route.

Hi. Resetting the host file seemed to have fixed it. Very interesting.

Thanks.

Glad it helped. There are some software installs that can modify your hosts file, so something might have happened.
