No, this is not about lots of grave stones saying things like "Ben dover, finally layed to rest", or "mother superior, mourned by nun", this is about reporting some updates to old beloved games, and indeed setting the record straight news wise about something particularly tumultuous (emphasis on the tomb), which turned up at the start of September when the forum itself was in tomb moil.

Those who have been around the community for a while will remember the long and endlessly complicated saga of tomb hunter. Starting waaaaay back in 2004 with James North of Alchemy game's attempt to create an audio version of the Parker brothers classic montizuma's revenge, then picked up by Thomas ward of Usa games.

The hole thing went through more permutations and circularities than a snake solving a rubics cube, from an arcade classic remake, to an in depth side scroller with rpg like features,  a homage to Lara Croft of the tomb raider series.
Sadly, Thomas ward died before completing the project, but in memory of Tom ward and his Tombs, Masonian and NS studios now bring you tomb hunter, a game two years in the making.
Enter a complex 2d side scrolling world of burning fires, deadly skeletons and monster snakes. Solve puzzles, mazes and   master precise jumping skills as you follow Indiana Jones in trying to retrieve magical artifacts.

With a new version released not long ago, and a discount for the holliday season, now is definitely a  good time to go tomb hunting.

Just check out Masonian's site here for details of the game and use Yonder topic for your commenting pleasure.

Tomb hunter however is not the only blast from the past in the news today.
I used the word "crazy" which of course means Crazy party has received some updates.
Notable changes include an extra minigame in the castle, which provides an easier way of accessing the city, some new battle cards, and some bug squashing, or rather butterfly squashing.

As always Comment away here

Another major update comes in the form of a real old classic. Sound rts the landmark title in audio strategy which has provided hours of fun commanding your peasants and archers and crushing opponents is now back in active development, particularly if your a mod maker, note that development goes on with continuous versions, which improve algorithms for the game, add factions and experiment with new properties like area heal and harm spells.
For more information check out The sound rts topic though before downloading the new continuous versions, be sure to read the changelog in post 235.

Updates are also forthcoming in the well known quest for survival, Survive the wild recent features include new items and animals, and new quests to try out as well, just see Yonder topic for details and comments

Lastly, what would november be without a few special events on your favourite online games? Alteraeon celibrations continue with thanks giving events following their halloween ones, as well as new skills and changes to the ever expanding crafting system. Happy gaming.
