If you have proof that Cloverbit is Ticonblue, then show it to us, until I see proof, I will give Cloverbit the benefit of a doubt, even if I choose not to buy this game.

One glaring fact that casts doubt on Cloverbit being Ticonblue is that while Cloverbit is giving dissatisfied buyers their money back, Ticonblue always said that there are no refunds offered or available.

True. I got mine within the same day if I'm not mistaken.

But wait, what's that? A transport! Saved am I! Hark, over here! Hey nonny non, please help!

2018-07-22 20:37:32

why would Ticonblue not give refunds? is that really optional?

I don't know, but when I discovered that The Inquisitor, the first game in the series, was so buggy that it could not be played to completion, I asked for a refund and they refused. This was about a week after I had purchased it. This was also after they told me they knew about the bugginess, and that the bugs would never be fixed because the development team had been disbanded.

2018-07-22 21:33:39

that doesn't seem fare. you should be able to get a refund if its full of bugs.

They shouldn't be selling a known to be defective product that will never be fixed either, but even today, you can still buy it from their web site.

I would like to ask a few questions about this game.
1. Do the game ends on a cliff hanger?
2. How long is this game?
3. What other games are like this one for Windows?

Spoiler for fighting:
1. Block all the attacks until you have noticed the patterns. Pay attention to the sound of the weapon swinging through the air right before it hits you.
2. Stop blocking, and attack the enemy right after you hear the weapon swing.
3. After you hit the enemy the first time and he sounds like he has got an extreme orgasme, you can hit him one more time, sometimes even two or three times, and then it starts over again.

@cyco
This game isn't too long to complete. Without dying you won't spend more than 3 hours beating it.

2018-07-23 16:29:05

I am doing what everyone is saying to do to beat the captain.
However I keep getting killed.
Can anyone please give detail instructions on how to beat him?

No one is going to be able to give you better instructions than what SLJ wrote, so read post 159

And I plaied in this, and I'm the water place, and I go to the some door there.
And I can't go to next, because I hear the navigator sound (this is a sizzling sound), and I hear the sizling sound where from the left, or from the right, as I go in the level.

I not found now the next thing.

Then you are not doing exactly what I say.

From what I understand you are not supposed to keep attacking your enemies. If they counter your attacks you will get paralyzed. You should read post 159 and follow the instructions and you won't get hit ever again.

Hi all!

What are these the patterns? What's these?

The patterns means simply the rhythm the enemy is attacking. You need to figure out the rhythm, pay attention to the weapon swing sound which comes right after the attack shout, and then there is an open spot to hit the enemy, right after the weapon swing. I hope this makes more sense.

According to the definition I found, binaural sound is basically stereo, since binaural means relating to or using both ears, but from what people are saying that there is a difference between sound in front of you versus sound coming from behind, it seems like there's more to it than just stereo sound. With that in mind, is it possible that not all systems are capable of reproducing binaural sound?

2018-08-08 13:54:08 (edited by Orko 2018-08-08 13:56:29)

OK, I was just thinking that binaural audio might require special hardware or software to reproduce it. Do you have a link to that youtube clip?

2018-08-08 18:26:04

so based on what i'm reading i should not buy this game? hmm okay. was so looking forward to it also. ah well another stupid git that says "hey we have here an audio game that you can play with awesome sound so you know where you're going but alas I'm an idiot and will falsely advertise just to get money." what a dick. i'm sorry. but this shit pisses me off. i got inquisitor thinking it would be fun but like some one else said couldn't finish it.   and the $22.99 is well is it worth it. Does the length of the gameplay fit the price?

2018-08-08 19:48:24

I believe some people have reported completing the game's story in about 3 hours, and I haven't heard much about replay value. So I suppose whether it's worth the price or not depends on how much you're willing to pay per hour of entertainment.

2018-08-08 19:59:58

By the time you do the currency conversion it figures out to be around $30, and $10 per hour for an adventure with no real exploration capabilities or replay value is asking a bit much. Especially when you consider that A Hero's Call is only $20 and has plenty of exploration and replayability in it, not to mention that it takes way more than three hours to complete.
