Hey all.

I've had the N95 8 GB since february. A few days ago, the phone began
to hang, so I decided to do a hard reset. When I went into menu,
tools, utilities,
and memory, and clicked on the format mass memory option, everything
seemed to be okl. When it had finished formatting, I entered a name,
and hit ok. A
few minutes later, just to make sure all data was gone, I formatted it
again. This time, I dialog appeared, saying that other applications
were using the
mass memory, and I could either choose yes or no. I think the app that
was using the memory must have been profile scheduler, but does anyone
know why
it didn't pop up that dialog before? Surely, the program would have
been deleted when I formatted the mass memory for the first time? Do
you think it would
have been deleted properly on the second format? I'm just not sure why
it didn't bring up the message the first time.

Thanks guys,

Elliott.

I'm not familiar with the N95, but since you still had your phone's screen reader I'm guessing you have more than one memory location? It's possible some software was installed in the other location, but might be using the mass memory for storage. Not sure really.
