Had a bout of insomnia last night, so decided I'd work on Beep. Amazingly I get emails asking me if I'd ever make it... I have no clue why.

After about 5 minutes of coding, I came up with this.  Merry Christmas.

So guys, i’m having trouble with level7 of beep. I keep trying to shoot the beeps, but supreme commander crap and his shit minions keep crapping all over taking away my health. Anyone got any strategies to beat this one? I really wanna do this so i can move on to the bitch battle.

I agree with Riad, this game is something never seen like before, it's super awesome and adicting. Problem is, I can no longer focus on my personal life since I spend a lot of hours playing this very great game.

Kind regards!

I still can't beat the final boss. He beeps, and beeps, and beeps, and beeps and Deer Lord please just help me make the beeps go away! I hear them in my nightmares! I think he's taunting me, I just can't... I  just... I can't kill the beeps!

What is the mecanics of this game?

2018-12-05 14:42:04

Wow.
I return to the audiogames forum after a while... and find this! Thank you for this early Christmas present, sometimes the best gifts are the ones that are nostalgic. I know this might sound a bit nuts, but, I am going to be honest: it is absolutely brilliant to see a sort of "official" version of Beep materialize, so to speak. I was around way back when, and I was one of the people wondering where it was haha. Quickly realized what was happening, and I like how it's become a bit of a running gag (one of your other games also referenced it), and then a few developers did create their own versions of beep as well.
Now, we get this version, and the nostalgic intro is very real. It's also technically a remake because it's got different sounds to the original concept as well, so, honestly, I am going to say it again, thank you. Thank you for the nostalgia and, basically, bringing this little ditty back, and in a playable form no less!

Hilarious! I have no understanding of the history of this, other than what I read in the comments, but playing it put a giant smile on my face. Does anyone have any links to the history of this?

@13
The mechanics are as follows:
beep

2018-12-06 11:32:36

I don't know when this was made, but the history behind this game is that sometime probably in the early 2000's, Liam made a joke advertisement for a fake game called Beep! I downloaded my copy of this ad in August of 2004. For a spoiler about a later game, read below!
I've uploaded the original ad to my server. The link is:
http://bluegrasspals.com/beep.mp3

Spoiler!
Alert!

This Beep! ad was included as one of the unlockable movies in Judgment Day. When unlocked, you also unlocked the  Beep! bonus game, which wasn't actually what you might think, but just a silly joke and an excuse for another trophy.

Agarchive has the ad as well.

Oh no! Somebody released the h key! Everybody run and hide!

it was also to prove a point that people would believe and pay for most everything. I had actually received serious questions about the game, when it would be coming out and how to paypal money for it.
